How does it start at 6.10pm in WA but 7.30pm in Victoria? Is there a delorean involved?

Just a guess, but 7:30 eastern is probably when the broadcast starts....with 40 minutes of 'insight' from the commentators...So for your own sanity, don't turn the TV on until 8:10.

Carlton usually play pretty well over in Subi. Odds are pretty good for an upset.

Losing Brown and Newman to long term injuries this week,
Just hope for a game with no serious injuries.
Cant believe we lose Newman who would of played this week, for so long over a finger injury.
He would of been ideal in the wet tonight.

Two bottom 6 sides, despite the fact that Carlton apparently play well in Perth, I'd have to go with the Eagles, if it's wet, then the fact they don't have any key defenders won't matter as much. I'm tipping them on nothing else than the home ground advantage, and that Naitanui should destroy Carlton's ruck division.

Eagles by 4

Carlton looked like they really struggled to kick much of a score last week which is a worry.

we have a model which projects Carlton to win by 8 points, with a 76% chance of covering the +12.5 line and 64% chance of winning outright.

We are also projecting Carlton to score 14 or more behinds, current lines at 10.5 behinds.
