Maybe we will, maybe we won't.
Whatever happens this year we will be back again next year. We can get significant improvement just via player development before we even tap into the draft or trading.

Dogs back again in 2018? You couldn't even make it back in 2017. Lol.
how you can even think of bantering with supporters of a club 100 years plus of real history, a club that helped build your plastic franchise, when your (joke) supporters only got 14,500 to a semi final is beyond me
in 10 years you'll be in canberra, tassie or gone

you're like school in the summer time, no class

Someone in media reporting 1256 tickets were sold to GWS members. Does anyone know if this is true or where they got this number from?

Their club allocation for members would be much higher. That could have been public sales as the figures reported that today on average 1200 tickets per minute were being sold.

Should GWS make it to the GF, they will still receive their club allocation of 17,000 for their paid members to sell to those categories qualifying for grand final ticket access

Awesome. All members get a grand final ticket. No other side can offer that!.

Here's the Tweet I'm referring to:

Buying tickets was weird. Richmond were allowed 2 tickets for each members barcode. I'm just wondering if the GWS/Richmond allocation was combined (with Richmond supporters buying the majority) or if come Thursday there's going to be a huge amount of unsold GWS allocation being released to the public.

gws, the gold jackets yours, richmonds gonna choke

Lol I love it how Richmond are going in as clear favourites against GWS and would need to "choke" to lose. It's interesting how the tone of the opposition supporter changes.

It's credible
The club does have around 700 Vic members and for the first time has asked members to get there. Buses from Sydney and Canberra and a discount of sorts from our sponsor Virgin for flights, has been provided.
We have very small numbers interstate, but amongst the happiest supportets I would think.

I would have thought more GWS supporters would have wanted tickets. From my recollection you were always able to buy multiples of finals tickets on a single bar code except that for the GF

Greater Western Sydney has recorded a sensational 37 per cent growth to rise to 20,944 members in 2017, however that's still a very good ratio of available tickets to members in comparison.

If its a Geelong v Richmond GF for arguments sake, the club allocation can be anywhere from 15-35K tickets. But with both Geelong & Richmond having a combined 127,523 members with the maximum limit of 70,000 for competing clubs being allocated. The remainder of the tickets to Corporate, AFL members, MCC seating allocation (first come first served), a slim public allocation and hospitality packages there would be a lot of pissed off paid members from Cats and Tigers supporters missing out

A grand final will turbo charge GWS, like it did for the swans in 1996.
There would be no talk of low crowds after that.

We're favourites in a prelim, losing it would be a choke, yet we're shit and only made finals let alone top 4 on the back of an easy draw.

That's the AFLs hope, and why they gave you so much help getting there.

And, of course, we still haven't beaten anyone.
