Our turn for the short turn around + travel. Havent done the data on how other teams have faired but against the top team this will be our biggest challenge. Got no idea how we will fair, will need to see the players names as their has been word some players will be managed at some point through the frenzy. For the sake of the season I hope we do the smart thing but for the spectacle of this game I'd like to go in full strength to get a measure of where things are at.

Match of the round for mine and cant wait to see how these teams stack up.

After the Brisbane game, it's seems Richmond is finding form, and that makes it hard to tip against them.

But with the outs, and traveling on a short turnaround, against the top placed team, it looks like a mighty challenge.

I'm going to say the same as I did last round. I'm tipping Port, but without confidence. 60/40 their way.

The short breaks do have a big impact. Quite a few teams have looked flat in the first half or even the whole game.

Westhoff dropped? Wow I havent followed him specifically but surely that's not a form drop or is it more player management?

He's been garbage all year and was garbage most of last year too. I wouldn't expect to see him play too many more AFL games if I was you. Ladhams has overtaken him.

Been on the axe bladed end of the best 22 for a bit now. Hopefully these tough calls are indicative of a quality game with plenty of edge.

I have no idea. I think a loss is more likely (and it is not surprising if it is a comfortable one), but Richmond has surprised in a positive way a lot in the last couple of years including Port at AO last year.

Cotchin out is going to hurt, but this game is expected to be a wet weather game and that could act as a nice equaliser IMO.

Port are being under sold. They play hard and tough and have confidence

Tiges looking better. Was it only 3 weeks ago Pies were flag faves and Tiges looking mediocre? Moral of story, don't listen to experts.

Having said that I think Tiges are being a tad over sold. Their young blokes look good but will be inconsistent. 4 day break.

Port by 3 goals.

Hoping for a clean tough game with no arse play and also, no penis squeezing.

That's a fair assesment for this game, I probably think Port by a few goals too

You need to look at the loses for Port to get an idea of where they are.

Saints & Brisbane.. happens to be two teams high up the ladder.

This game will be their biggest test and it's against a Richmond side that's 75-80% strong.

They have beaten an Bulldogs by 2 goals (average side struggling to keep in the 8) and would've lost if Bulldogs kicked straight, West Coast (in extremely bad form at that stage of the season), GWS (lacking form at that stage and were lucky to even best Essendon last night).

Port comfortably by 3 to 4 goals. Have no confidence in this one with our outs & 4 day break + travel. Matter of time before these kids start becoming inconsistent.
We saw what happened with Brisbane off a 4 day break and they didn't even have to leave their state.

4 day break v 5 day break
Tiges gaining momentum and Port just getting over the Blues after the siren 2 games ago should give us great confidence.

Have unfortunately missed most of Port's games this year so very excited to see them in action. Should be a good, tough game.
