We have every right to enjoy the win. Asterisk? Wtf are you crapping on about? We actually would have had no right to lose after being up by 33. Don’t be such a bad sport.
The fact your lead was whittled away in 10 minutes shows how little you actually deserved to win. Put all that effort in for a side to show up for half a quarter and nearly steal it

Rather the fact that we didn’t roll over like we always do shows that we DID deserve it. So either be a good sport or don’t. I don’t care.

The controversy was that they missed Yeo’s high tackle on Wardlaw.

Pay the correct decision and we aren’t even talking about Yeo.

Vision was clear he took him high. IMG_0409.jpeg

Doesn’t look like a legal tackle to me? So why are we bitching about a mistake after the first mistake that would have seen North awarded a free kick?

And yet North still deserved to win more than West Coast did.

So show a bit of class and give a bit of credit where it is due.

It must be hard for him to see the screen through all the tears.

I’ve never seen someone lose it so much over losing to the worst side in the comp ;)

Kleenex shares just spiked.

How's that high? He ducked see bend of knees

It's a non for profit organisation. Like a charity.

But that's an insult, as charities are far more transparent, professional, efficient, fair, etc than the AFL.
Main reason being charities are held accountable for their mistakes and take steps to learn from them and improve not cover them up.

Only have to look at the AFLs handling of various incorrect decisions late in close games to know they have NFI. Wait several days until the decision has been reviewed and announced incorrect ad nauseum then hold a press conference to confirm what had already been concluded. Yet I can guarantee that there was an incorrect decision that resulted in a goal somewhere in that game to the team the incorrect decision late was against.

Yet say nothing when there's a game that 1 side gets an absolute armchair ride from umpires but no obviously incorrect decision late in the game. Hang 1 umpire out to dry for making an incorrect decision late in a close match yet generally the other umpires made worse incorrect calls during the match which is glossed over. No wonder decent umpires aren't umpiring at AFL level, they have too many brain cells.

For example, the Adelaide vs Sydney game late last year. Yes it was a goal. Yes Sydney deserved to lose. Yes it probably (as other results eventuated) cost the Crows a finals spot. However the concessions granted to Adelaide afterwards were a joke. I can guarantee there were other games last year where incorrect decisions changed the result of a game or 1 team got an armchair ride and won. Do those losing teams then get to cry foul and demand concessions? The umpires had NFI all game that night. Sydney got an armchair ride with incorrect decisions in the first half. Adelaide got an armchair ride with incorrect decisions in the last quarter. If, as a (supposedly) professional body, you're going to comment on incorrect decisions at least have the guts to be completely honest instead of hanging 1 individual out to dry.

Agreed. I was thinking when I saw that that wardlaw had his head taken off.

Nothing about that game was a win for anyone, we played terrible, NM played a little less terrible, all in all we are both in a world of pain, that was no where near up to scratch with any other team in the competition. Helen Keller would have got brownlow votes.
