Why is the clock counting up?

I think Fox footy have been caught with their pants down here, as yesterday (during the Swans/Hawks match) they claimed the clock counting up issue was a "Sydney problem' - but just as I thought yesterday surely the broadcaster controls such settings...?
Suspect it's just some new tech kiddie at Fox footy choosing ascending instead of descending for the game clock - although you'd think the boss would of given them a clip for yesterday's stuff-up...

BTW, Crows a good chance of breaking their duck here...
