Two prime time teams in a prime time slot! What a treat!
However, I think the lack of crowd kills this one. One team to get an early run and that ends the game. The lack of atmosphere will make this feel like a training drill and all urgency will drop out of the game after the first quarter.
This game and the work these sides have done deserved better - shame.

As legitimate contenders they should be able to generate their own urgency.
Both teams well aware that this game sets a tone for other clashes that might include a very big final.

The doggies backline is full of spuds, I think Melbourne can afford to kick haphazardly inside 50 and still clunk plenty of marks. Conversely the Dogs will have to be super clean and could get destroyed if they blaze high balls in the vicinity of May & Lever...
