Has a choice between Pies & Tigers. Chooses Pies as "They have a better list", Tigers win 3 of next 4 flags.
Leaves Pies to join (not by choice) regular finalists Dogs and plays in a losing GF.
A year later Pies make a PF and now looking like a team that will probably win the next few flags.
Poor bloke.
I think he just loves the pies. Like when you're dumped by that one person and can't move on from the pain/there was no closure. A tortured soul.

Good thing is we can still win flags ourselves.

Congratulations Collingwood. Thank heavens you got up,because a travesty of justice on several umpiring decisions , needs to be looked into.

Your club as it seems to happen had to play ON THE FIELD 22 players a opposition footyteamand an incompetent blind set of umpires,.
I can't and won't say anymore what I think, but I know one goal at least, was or may as well have been kicked by Surfer Boy and the smack in the mouth to the player up the ground getting into the last 3 or 4 minutes you can see the umpire ON TV waving play on directly in view of the incident as the bloke gets a whack that flattened him, and the round the neck high and back push tackle of a Collingwood bloke trying to get a goal, NO FREE , BIT TO COWARDLY TO AWARD A FREE right in front hey???? Open your ******* eyes McClachlan, look at your umpiring crew. PATHETIC!

Well done pies , you had to play 22 with 18.
Cheers mate, wish you had help on against the chuckers, I mean dogs.

Ah good to read a thread on the BigUmpiring forum.

Crows should have put them away in the first, they didn't, Pies never give up and are very dangerous late in the last.
If you aren't 6 goals+ up against them going into the last, they will have every belief they can win. It's an amazing mindset and full credit to them for it.

Gee wiz Frampton is impressing me. I did not rate him all pre-season and had my heart in mouth whenever he’d get near it early on, but I’ve fallen in love. His efforts in the ruck in the last 2 weeks have actually been the difference between us being in games and not getting absolutely belted.

We really do need Cameron and Cox back ASAP though, and Howe will make life easier for Murphy and Moore down back. At this stage, I’d rather Lipinski be playing than Elliott, who has been badly out of form for majority of 2023.

Pendles will be a huge inclusion next week against a fired up Swans needing a W.

Very solid effort today by the Pies without the above guys and Nicholas Daicos having a down game. This side has an insatiable appetite for victory irrespective of personnel. So much joy watching the B&W continuing to win from unwinnable positions.
You could play your VFL side and beat Sydney

Did you not watch the segment last week That was alllll about it?
Ah yeah. The only team that produces a few iffy disposals.

If you think the dogs are the only team based on some hack journalism from idiots like Montagna and Barrett you have less idea than they do.

You clearly haven't seen the clip between Port and Sydney when there were 5 clear throws in under 10 seconds... but yeah, just the dogs.

Crawl back under your ignorant rock

One might think allowing the opposition a lot of relatively easy shots on goal and hoping they just suck is bad football. But maybe it's not, got you the points.
We flick the switch when we have to, them missing means we didn’t have too, pretty simple.

Well played Collingwood. We had our chances and didn't take them, I never felt confident in the last quarter. Your mob just always get it done from those positions.
Well, almost always!

Whatever. Adelaide outplayed you lot by far in the first half. Should have been 40 points up if they could kick.
We went in undermanned and lost one of our few remaining talls inside the first ten minutes. No Pendles. No Lipinski. No McStay, No Howe, No Cox, No Cameron. Crows at full strength, an extra two days rest and on their home dung heap. The umps crucified us and we still got over them yet again. Suck a sausage.
