Why do you think they don't get credit? You guessed something irrelevant to being the best defensive team is why they don't get credit for their defensive work?
Amazing you doubled down on that.

Why do you think they don't get credit? You guessed something irrelevant to being the best defensive team is why they don't get credit for their defensive work?
Amazing you doubled down on that.
They don't get credit from opposition fans because opposition fans are as a general rule close minded to other teams being the best. Why do you think they don't get credit?
And that's more relevant than my guess how? They don't get credit from opposition fans because opposition fans are as a general rule close minded to other teams being the best.
They don't get credit from the media because AFL media is pathetic at analysing the sport and much more obsessed with the click bait soap opera style reporting.

2149 | 1906 |

Um. I didn't argue they are the best defensive team. And that's more relevant than my guess how?
Which of the below would you rate as the best defence? You'll say the last one as it supports your augment, but IMO it's the first row as they score ~400 more points while conceding only 40 more. This would be the public perception in my opinion, but of course it could just be they the media is s**t.
For Agst 2142 1687 2180 1771 2149 1906 2079 1660 1922 1697 1775 1647
So you don't give them credit either? Why is that? Is it because of the media or you're not open minded?Um. I didn't argue they are the best defensive team.
You really should've left it alone when you said you were going to.
I don't give anyone credit. Did you even read where I said opposition fans are close minded? So you don't give them credit either?
Okay so it goes back to you not being very bright, okay got it.I don't give anyone credit. Did you even read where I said opposition fans are close minded?
Resorting to personal attacks because you made an irrelevant point.Okay so it goes back to you not being very bright, okay got it.
At what point was any of your posts relevant to the discussion? And do you disagree that a team who scores 400 points more while only conceding 40 more is a better defensive team?Resorting to personal attacks because you made an irrelevant point.
Strange.
How was me discussing why your argument was flawed relevant to the discussion about your argument? Christ. At what point was any of your posts relevant to the discussion? And do you disagree that a team who scores 400 points more while only conceding 40 more is a better defensive team?
Nice input, you've added zero to the discussion. Bye.How was me discussing why your argument was flawed relevant to the discussion about your argument? Christ.
I'm leaving this here. And unlike you I won't declare I'm leaving it and come back another half dozen times.
If this is the case, St Kilda should be pushing for more games at the venue so we can learn how to play it come September. With this game at the g and not marvel, we finally put to bed the pipe dream Geelong fc have of playing finals at kardinia park.
MCG is Victoria’s finals venue.
Unfortunately for the cats it’s home state and not home city final. I know Geelong fc feel they operate under different rules, however geelong is still part of Victoria from what I can tell.Cats will argue home city final.
Just like Gold Coast if they make finals and get a home one, will play it out of Heritage Bank stadium rather than the Gabba
I would happily play you on the g every year instead of that soulless stadium. If this is the case, St Kilda should be pushing for more games at the venue so we can learn how to play it come September.
But I won't hold my breath, even in our Grand Final years the AFL refused to allow us on the hallowed turf more than a few times a season.
The MCG is the surperior stadium with a much richer history, but Marvel is only souless for Richmond fans because they aren't willing to travel the extra few kms across town to provide an atmosphere for their players.I would happily play you on the g every year instead of that soulless stadium.
Hah, I meant the club as a whole.
They are certainly currently in no position to push back publicly on anything that AFL HQ hands down to us.
Playing a Saturday day final at the MCG is also far from the worse thing we have copped.
At what point was any of your posts relevant to the discussion? And do you disagree that a team who scores 400 points more while only conceding 40 more is a better defensive team?
Wow another poster with poor reading comprehension, I do rate you actually, I was merely offering a reason why people might not be giving your defence credit.Mate you're the one who has posted a dozen times saying absolutely nothing.
We get it, you don't rate us.
We don't care.
I always travel there and have been there with crowds in excess on 40k, I just find the place has a cold, barren feel about it.The MCG is the surperior stadium with a much richer history, but Marvel is only souless for Richmond fans because they aren't willing to travel the extra few kms across town to provide an atmosphere for their players.
