I’d give them slight favouritism. Almost took down Geelong at GMHBA which is not easy to do.

Obviously early on in the season so hard to know how teams play - but after PS v us & v Geelong, I don’t reckon the Saints have the speed of ball movement to make the Pies defence jointed like Sydney & GWS did. They’ve got a lot of good runners & ball users though with a huge focal point in King to draw attention so potentially round 1 was just blowing some cobwebs off and we will see a faster style next week (IF Ross the Boss has had a change of heart)

After falling asleep and stopping dead after halftime last week due to the Blues lack of ability, I worry about this game for different reasons.

Justin Snoremuirs boring gameplan may lul our players to sleep so it is a definite danger game.

Is Fyfe any good these days?

Yes. In the role he is now playing (physical, blocking, extracting mid) he's excellent. His footy smarts in clearing the road make a huge difference, missed it since Mundy retired.
