They have beaten us several times down there in recent years - and comfortably so- they play the ground well. They match up well in us. That being said, cats should have won last night- blew so many opportunities into the forward line in the last quarter. Sydney has always played well down there too. A NSW thing?
Is it a ground thing? Are the Sydney grounds comparable to GMHBA?

The Giants being as good on the road as at home is a consistent spirit that I recall coming into being during their 2018 season. A team belief that they can duke it out anywhere regardless of location, opponent or personnel. It wasn't really there previously, their overflow of talent coming of age during their 2015-17 period catered to a different philosophy, a different kind of tsunami to that they have today.

I think last year they won at seven or eight different away grounds.
9/10

S.C.G, M.C.G, Docklands, Kardinia, Eureka, Bellerive, Traeger, Norwood, Adelaide, Manuka*

*yes I know it’s a “home” ground but we still have to travel away to get there.

Only away ground we didn’t win at last year was Perth.

As you say GWS match up very well against the Cats. GWS' away record is pretty good these days, I think
last year they won at seven or eight different away grounds. It took some heroics at the end (Toby's goal,
Leek's brilliant mark) but they got it done.
Nine away venues plus two home venues, a record for any team ever!!!
