Can't see Melbourne turning this around. They need to make a call on Petracca's fitness.
This is all he's capable of if he wants to send the ball more than 5 metres.
His little 1m handballs in tight are okay but Melbourne don't have enough quality ball users for him to shovel it to, for those to even benefit the team.
How i felt last night playing very similar to Essendon imo

Feel this will go down to the wire. The Pies have faded badly in 2nd halves in recent weeks, 27 points gives them something to defend but i'd be surprised if they kicked on from here.

The gulf has only widened between the top teams & Melbourne. It just really comes down to their forward ball movement & forward line. They can’t kick it to their forwards and their forwards suck, simultaneously.
Dees aren’t playing finals so id nearly take Kozi having a month holiday tbh. As long as it’s Moore or Maynard. Don’t have to be a dog about it, just have the whole team kneeing them in the back at the every chance. Maynard is protected so it’ll be two weeks atleast if someone does what Moore did to trac. May aswell make it a couple more and make it worth it.
FFS stop this constant whining Fitzey! It’s unedifying.
