Who was the 1 less rotation?
Rivers got injured in the second quarter, spent a lot of time off the ground and didn't play any of the last quarter.

Who was the 1 less rotation?
Might get a job on the Tee-Vee ... Oh, wait! His Daddy doesn't live on media streetSo he's going to take about 15 steps backwards then? God, I hope not!
I agree on Duncan. I was desperately disappointed with his game. Totally butchered the ball on numerous occasions. I guess he was at least presenting.I thought Duncan was mostly poor with a smattering of talented play. Very sad for his 100th.
Most of the boys were stuffed. Would've liked to have seen a bit more rolling rotations on resting them all for maybe one more game.
He played well.
Walker, Caddy, Hawkins, Selwood, Varcoe, Lonergan, Rivers solid but the rest . . . bloody disappointing!
Horlin-Smith will make it but boy! He's as slow as a snail which is stating the bleeding obvious. Probably the slowest footballer I have ever seen and that's saying something given we've had Lingy grace the turf in recent years.
Knew we'd lose this one so it doesn't hurt and we did not deserve to be so close either. I wish Selwood kept all the young guys out on the field and sent the older guys into the rooms so they could feel the pain of losing another close final.
Duncan, where were you?
Motlop, Murdoch are worrying as this is not the first time they have shit themselves when the slightest bit of pressure is applied in September footy.
Not at all. Pods and Chapman would not have given us a premiership this year. Nor can they give us 10 years of football. The call had to be made eventually. Tough? Sure. Wrong? Nope.Plenty pointed out that getting rid of Pods and Chapman was idiotic when it happened. It's been proven as such time and time again this year. The club made a massive blunder. Accept it.
Mackie and Kelly? Yes.Hawkins & Selwood are two of the most disliked footballers by other clubs supporters, but they should be two of the most admired imo.
They were massive for your club tonight & were head & shoulders above anyone else from Geelong.
I certainly wish they were in the Bulldogs side.
Too much was left for too few tonight & I fear that the likes of Mackie, Kelly & even Enright are close to the end.
does that mean we miss the finals next year?I said jokingly to myself that this is our 2005 Semifinal all over again. In some ways I hope it is.
Interesting, didn't notice that. Although I noticed he got a knock to his knee early in the first.Rivers.
Bullshit. We needed support for Caddy and Selwood. He did it sporadically. His tackling was shithouse. He did not play a good game.
Joel Selwood is a freaking beast.
Apologies for intruding, but I've got nothing but respect for a captain who walks off the field with a bruised and swollen eye, head bandaged up. A player who gives nothing but a 110% for his club.
Absolute champion

.
I have to disagree with you on Duncan. I thought he ran his guts out and got plenty of the ball over 4 quarters. We all see it differently though.
Duncan was clearly in our best 4 tonight.
He played well, saying otherwise merely devalues every other opinion you proffer.
Yep I said the same thing on page 1 or 2. Time to either reload (which I don't agree with as we have tried it... it hasn't worked) or rebuild properly like the Bulldogs or Saints. At least we don't have a compromised draft either.we can bury our head in the sand and ignore the issues that this team faces, and cling to the good years of the past, im sure the optimists will say that 2015 is our flag window and this year was irrelevant
we are a shell of a team that we used to be
Why would he goes up there and spend the rest of his career not playing another final ?Going to Brisbane, is the word- where his gf's family is
Was till the last Qtr, missed 3 big tackles, broken way to easily, if he's going to be weak defensively needs to get more ball to compensate.
AND: The Cats join West Coast (2007) and Port Adelaide (2001) as the only top-four teams to bow out of the finals in straight sets since 2000.our finals record since 2011 to current
1 win
5 losses
Stress?Congrats to North. How is it we now have the thinner Scott brother??
I reckon Port has gone in front of us..we can bury our head in the sand and ignore the issues that this team faces, and cling to the good years of the past, im sure the optimists will say that 2015 is our flag window and this year was irrelevant
