The Tigers have improved no doubt, but their no better than any other team making up the numbers in the 8, IMO there are 3 groups in the 8 ATM (come seasons end), the ones to beat (Hawks-Cats-Swans), teams with potential to compete (Pies-WC-Freo-Crows) and the number maker upeters (North-Tigers-Bombers)

I'd be inclined to say that the Cats aren't quite on the level of Sydney and Hawthorn. They've certainly impressed early, but if it weren't for their experience and knack for winning tight contests, they could well be 0-3. That's not to say they haven't earned all three victories, because they have, but they haven't blown anyone away.

The Tigers and Bombers are probably ahead of North too, and both sides can probably beat anyone on their day, but I wouldn't back them to make the top 4... and are no chance for the flag if they don't.

Injury list still says Beams 1-2 weeks. Bugger :(

Crazy. He has gone from a late withdrawal in round 1 to most likely not playing until ANZAC day. He is sorely missed in the midfield at the moment, as is Luke Ball.

I think we should be get up this week by a couple of goals, but it's going to be a tough match. They're up and about and we are riddled with injuries. We're certainly vulnerable coming off the Hawks' match too. Fingers crossed we can get a lot more out of Pendlebury, Thomas, Swan and Shaw this week; we need our A graders firing to beat what is a quality outfit.

.

He was only a late withdrawal to try and catch the opposition unaware. Got injured during training

At full strength would 100% be tipping the pies, but with your injuries and reid and apparently pendles (?) under an injury cloud i think its more of an even contest. About time I can actually consider us a chance against you guys, has been very bleak for a long, long time.

Think you will still win, but as long as jack sits on harry O's head and takes mark of the millenium I will go home a happy man.:)

We are ALWAYS open to opposition supporters and a bit of banter. Our mods encourage it. :thumbsu:

The mullet vs The Beard this week. A clash of titans in the ruck. Going to be mega! :D
It's gonna get hairy

What are the actual thoughts from your board on the match? I would say most on our end think you'll win but with injuries the way they are we won't get a better chance than this to take it.

Either way, good luck for the game, going to be huge! :)
Who said that, i think we can win it, collingwood will throw everything but the kitchen sink at us, but we are near full strength with the best side we ve had in years, they are 4 key players off and look to have the staggers, i like our chances

Bit of back to the future with that contest.
Whats the deal with rumours Pendlebury might miss?
Just the usual BS or does it actually have some substance to it.

I don't think we're too worried about little Jakey

I miss Brad Dick  The punch from King was ordinary. Loved how the boys responded. Can't blame the Tiges for sticking up for themselves either.
