Just not putting ANY pressure on defensively right now, letting norths runners carve us up.

Match is following the exact same script of all the recent Geelong-North encounters. They're spreading from stoppages much more effectively and killing us with uncontested ball.

Yeah pretty much, except we have been better going forward than that day.

our defenders are allowing the smaller forwards far too much room/not putting enough tackling pressure on.
That last north goal to Mullet was a joke, Bartel was right on him and let him get 2m away from him once he took the footy, he should have been on the ground in a big tackle but he gave him enough room to kick the goal.
Blicavs effort on the goal line was woeful, Enright and Guthries effort vs Wells was ordinary, Enright was guarding space that would never have invited the kick yet gave Wells 5m to push towards the ball carrier.
Mistakes from the Cats have resulted in every north goal, reduce or stop those mistakes and we have them, lower the eyes going forward and we have them, reduce their run and carry and spread and we have them.
Considering how we play and how north play I think we are still infront in the grand scheme of things.

How bad is Taylor Hunt playing. Well's first goal he was on the wrong side of Wells that allowed a player as quick as him be able to have a lead into space in front of goal. Dreadful defence - basic footy knowledge not shown at all. Then threw a bit of a wobbly about the space being there for Wells to run into. I am starting to really be concerned about THUnt.

West is playing like a b grade hack at the moment

His style isn't exactly aesthetically pleasing at the best of times; when he's off the pace, there aren't too many players on our list I find more frustrating to watch.

Id move SJ forward we need a small marking forward , and id back of the aggressive run forward a tad till we start taking marks.

Again the outstanding thing is how easily we are beaten in the clearances. THunt, Caddy and SJ being in the middle has not helped Selwood. The loss of Simpson notable.

Hawkins shouldn't be trying to crumb packs in the state he's in. Like watching an old man tryin to hold onto his farts - never works, and clogs up the space.

What should have been a goal to Hawkins.
What should have been a goal to West.
Our crumbing is ok mate.
Both Vardy and Hawkins seem to want to wrestle which on their own is ok but we need that leading forward ala Pods role.

Gee how good is Hawkins goal kicking this year!
Splits the middle on an angle that we would normally expect him to completely spray previous to last year.
I know he missed one earlier but hes a dead-eye more often than not.
