Not that the players we pick may be bad just that we seemingly have no real clear strategy and end with lots of similar types.

Strategy is clear to build a list capable of winning a premiership

I might be wrong, but to me it seems he does, it's just that his body reacts much later than his mind.

I think his mind tells him that he’s in danger far too often…

2 mill cap space a year for the next 5 years

Pay Gresh and Mckay 1.3 mill a year for next 5 years = 6.5 Mill

Front load 2 mill of that 6.5mill into this cap

Then 4.5 mill over last 4 years at ~1.1 a d with the chance to bring that firward into 2025 of room aswell

Sounds like Gresham is in a race to the bottom, no offer from the Saints, met Richmond but won’t be going there and we’re the only real noted suitor.

On the basis of that the deal may well be a very modest one.

Was reported and also mentioned by Ross Lyon on 360 that greshams manager asked them not to make an offer, so they didn’t. Not that they wouldn’t have an offer for them
Maybe to see what his highest offer can be and then to see if saints can match it
Still think it’s good news for us though

If it’s 650 X 6 as opposed to
800 X 5 then I’m okay with it but something like 750 X 6 is crazy.

If our current players get serious, fitter, stronger, 1000% tougher and able to deal with adversity then adding McKay and Gresham is fine, if we continue to coast they are going to offer very little and we'll all lose our minds.
