Darby's really stepped up the last couple of weeks and this would have to be the best consistency we've seen from her

If Barber is right to go, McWilliams surely the most likely to make way if all talks are available

I thought McMahon had been pretty solid down back tonight

When there is a doubt about how much space a player has, just put boot to ball. The coaches want players to look up before kicking, but there is a lot of pressure in AFLW as the ball doesn’t move quickly or a great distance. Play to win.

I am almost in awe at how McDonald gets any effective kicks with that style of hers... she had a micro-second and still got it away!

Geez we've got a nice core of young players, seen some really nice mid combos and loving the less predictable positioning.

We've been pretty good apart from that 5 minute patch earlier in the quarter where they unfortunately put 2 goals on the board.

I love Amy McDonald, her ability to find the ball and just be involved regardless of how the situation necessarily presents for the team

But damn I'd love someone to pull her aside and focus on her kicking technique because it's the most awkward looking action, which seems strange for someone who seems to have more of a football background than some others

Maybe see what Tuohy is up to, as he worked with Kearns following her arrival last year, and she looks pretty comfortable with her kicking.

This is really good tackling technique - don't worry about the arms or the attempted step and just focus on the torso
