Yes, and sometimes just plain wrong.....ie/ Ive backed the winner on certain events when the winner is already known (mind you yet to hit mainstream media) and they've left live betting up AND the favorite hasn't even won......not your typical everyday sporting event, but it does happen! Never want to smash it for thousands, but a couple of hungy always worth a giggle and generally flies under the radar.

I find it funny when ppl list a bunch of conspiracy theories and their heads are so far in the sand they don't even know at least one of the things in the list isn't a conspiracy.

And dont try and tell me these boys have been giving it their all, every time they run out, because if that was true, our coached wouldn't have got sacked 2 weeks ago.

If a board, prez and CEO would be willing to relocate the club on the recommendation of a head coach, there would be a board challenge that would set in motion a complete fumigation of the joint. If Clarkson somehow survived that, if Sydney supporters were able to stop the Swans employing Terry Wallace, surely we could get together and help oust Clarko?

As I say to my kids who at times are losing all interest and feel like they won’t see any real success in their life times, you’ve got to earn your right to celebrate and enjoy the success when it does come our way. By going through this crap and attending games we earn that right. That’s what separates real supporters from band wagon types

That's not the danger. I have absolute faith that Clarko would not be able to influence the current prez, CEO and board regarding relocation. But we don't want that destabilization within the ranks.

Clarko himself has said that the key figures within the club need to be on the same page. I am confident that everyone is on the same page about North remaining a Melbourne team, and so it stands to reason that the incoming coach needs to be on that same page.
 
Clarko coming back is the perfect timing for us and for him.

The symmetries of him being a small but extremely feisty man and the stature of our great club are identical.

He leant his craft from the great D. Pagan, he knows our history (he was part of it), he knows we punch above our weight and bringing new premiership cup(s) back to Arden Street will be personal. He’s a Shinboner.

Did anybody watch Footy classified last night? Hutchy suggesting both North & GWS want more time before deciding if Clarko is right for their club.. He implied Clarkson personality could be a issue if a club wasn’t strong enough at board level etc

Well, he's angry at time, likely thinks highly of himself due to success, and was replaced at hawthorn even though he's still clearly got the drive to coach.

I'd still have him, but he's not without his possible drawbacks, no one is.

I've said this before and I will say this again, the media will try every trick in the book to change narratives, as they simply do not want Clarko to land at Norths. The greatest coach of the modern era signing with Norths is simply something the media and the rest of the AFL world just would not be able to accept. It just does not suit their narrative.

So for Norths, it's the most simplest of processes.
  • Norths talk to Clarko and asks this simple question: Would you like to coach the North Melbourne Football Club?
  • Clarko: Yes
  • Norths: Sign here ✍️
There is no need to go through any other process, no need to bring in any other committee to help choose the coach. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we need to strike.

Now if Clarko is not interested, yeah then fine, go through the process of choosing a committee to help choose our next coach. But if he is, just get it done and announce it. I want to start gloating again.

It's amazing how the media just want click bait stories and make stuff up.
