This is good, because climate change isn't real? Or do you favour nuclear? Or just coal all the way?Dutton just pulled out the trump card (pun intended) for the next election - committing to pull out of the Paris Accord. Goddam we're back baby.

Bringing back candidates like Tim Wilson is not going to help DuttonOr a few hours into the 2020 election count, Biden was out to $5 at one point.
Either way I think Dutton and LNP have the next election in the bag, barring something unforseen.
Well Labor MP's have vague ideas of what's right but seem disconnected from the ground which is starting to show. I know for a fact the answer to our times is not Dutton, he's not even pretending to do anything of substance, but unless the ALP open up pre-selections or an alternative party steps up then we are in a situation where the Libs are in with a shot...I'm not convinced they win but I can see them winning back three or so teal seats and a smattering across WA, SA, and VIC. Labor could pick up a couple in Tassie and Queensland.A general question for ALP supporters
Have you been disappointed with Albanese's first term?
I really hope you are correctBringing back candidates like Tim Wilson is not going to help Dutton

A little bit from column (a), (b) and (c). Regardless of if climate change is real, the current net zero proposals and other economic and energy hamstringing required by countries like Australia are no solution to it.This is good, because climate change isn't real? With the Taliban potentially committing to net zero, I remain hopeful for our future. If other parts of the world are going to make us look like tiny fish in an ocean by their contributions towards climate change getting worse then it doesn't make sense for Australia to hobble our own economy with less reliable and or more expensive energy or transport.
Pragmatically, short of going to war over it there won't be broad change globally. We need to make our nation more robust. We need to build a system of infrastructure that doesn't rely on imports, can both handle extreme weather events and extreme drought.
Build giant concrete bunkers with nuclear power plants making clean drinking water when demand is low. We can't afford to have the solar and wind systems fall over when the inevitable increasing severe weather hits.
Labor no chance in QLD to collect seats.Well Labor MP's have vague ideas of what's right but seem disconnected from the ground which is starting to show. Tempted to break away and start a left-leaning workers' party that's not full of lawyers, political staffers and consultants...reckon that could catch on?
Unfortunately she has shown she is only capable of empty platitudes and has no back bone. Needs to find a job in the uni sector as can't cut it in a leadership role. Being better than the non event that was Marise Payne isn't good enoughFairly or no, the only positive memory I’ll have of this government is Penny Wong’s regional diplomacy mopping up tour, which was a ‘first hundred days’ honeymoon thing.
2023 and 2024 be like
I think ALP will lose a few in WA , might take Dickson and win back from Greens. Libs will lose some to teals. Hung parliament with Teals supporting LabourLabor won't gain any seats in Victoria either. They're very close in margin on a lot of LNP seats, but I doubt they'll get more than they got against Morrison.
They'll need big swings to lose a lot of seats, the LNP have done themselves some damage, but I'm confident it will be a decent swing.
Higgins and McEwen they might lose to LNP, LNP might pick up some teals too.
