How the hell do you get a job like an umpire/Tech expert?

I don't give a shit what the umpire or the technology says. Come on...................

And the old man has had enough...............Jesus christ. This is bullshit. I have some sympathy for all you Millennial tech obsessed. May as well let technology make decisions as the senile old officials are not up to it.

Fair enough.
However if they bat like this tomorrow, they'll get a Brisbane Lions type crowd in.....
Can bat like they want. They're getting something on the board and wearing out/frustrating a momentum side away from home day one. Painful or boring as it may be is good cricket by England. Another reason batting for time is good against Australia is it exposes Smith for the shit captain he is (terrific bat though) which can lead to flood gates opening.

Lmao I love all these arm chair experts that are better poised to judge the light from their couches through the tv as applied to 2 highly experienced test umpires

They knew he was bowling at the start of the over. And besides, we could have gone to spin but didn't look like we got a choice

I was being facetious.

Excellent partnership from Moeen and Malan I thought. A counterattack to arrest the bowlers momentum and then circumspect to close out the day.

England slightly ahead but lack of runs could prove an issue in terms of forcing a result later in the test.

Good days play excepting the rain!

Agree that he is an ordinary captain.

Forgive my stupidity but how does the new review rule work? (can't guarantee i will comprehend it even if you explain it well) :)
Basically if the review is rejected as umpire's call you don't lose your referral.

Yep. Despite seeming like a bit of a dick and having some behavioral issues I'd prefer Warner. More likely to come up with something and find some energy or inspiration from somewhere in the field when opposition are on top. With Smith it's pretty much all dependent on Starc/Lyon individual talent getting the job done.
