I was just expanding on your point because the priest and mayor and seer also want to stay hidden and are going to claim villager if pushed

with the fact there are more roles than non roles left there is a good chance someone with a role got recruited

but not guaranteed

Yes, I realise that and am being really careful with what I say atm but I'm still sore about being piled on yesterday and tone/light touch is everything when walking (nay tap dancing) in a mine field. And as to yesterday....was my 'mistake' that bad...the amulet died with the nag by the looks of it.......I've stuck around to help the village and I'm trying my best for the village......

Experienced players can pick other experienced players, sometimes narratives like the pie/Tarks one can reveal itself. New players could have patterns too I suppose.

Good point. I was a bit surprised evil didn’t knock bonce off last night tbh. Does a recruited villager seer as a recruit? At some point our true seer needs to share what they’ve learned.

I read the OP as they are seered and die as "Villager/Recruited" or something like that

Also leaning toward the Head Vamp being someone new or not here for the last few games.
Recruiting Tarks N1 was something a recent regular player wouldn't have done. He's an early target for actions.
Killing a newbie N2 was strange.

So the smart play in recruiting The Bonce may have eluded them.

Who would be on a shortlist fitting that line of thought?
