The club deciding it was a good idea to rush Pearce back after a few weeks off with a broken arm to play Melbourne who have no major key forwards has absolutely bottled us too.

I expect there to be more melts and so forth, but have some perspective. Put Treacy, Darcy and Pearce into our side. Then take Hogan, Briggs and Taylor out of the GWS side. What would the result be?

Sure is a frustrating way for the season to fizzle out, as with some different availability I think we would have finished top 2 and from there a half decent chance to win it all.

There is still hope we can sneak into the 8, get some troops back, and ruffle some feathers in September.

JL subbing Fyfe instead of Banfield was truly wtf. Leaving Cox on Hogan when he just got worse and worse, wtf.

Horrible selections and coaching for the previous two weeks.

The way we have thrown this season in the bin is truly remarkable. We were one of the best teams in the comp this year and we have just shot ourselves in the foot over and over, until our legs have completely fallen off.

GWS had 20 more tackles despite having 53 more disposals.

You can talk about Cox, who was poor but looks banged up and may have not played if Pearce had, or Amiss missing those two sitters, or Banners reverting to a potato, but that was the key difference there. Even if we somehow make finals we'll just get pantsed with that kind of (lack of) pressure.

It has been the same all season our game plan goes to water when the opposition is prepared to work harder in the contest. You can see it play out in slow motion when a handball chain gets turned over and they sling shot towards their goal.

You want to be positive, we arent playing bad footy but possibly now missing finals is going to be a gutpunch.

Wtf was Cox thinking today. That was the worst defensive effort I have ever seen. Seriously, if he hasn't torn a hammy then wtf was he doing all day. He's also way too ****ing slow.

Boy oh boy what to say about Banfield. He does stuff off the ball to help the forwards, but he is awful otherwise. He should have been subbed for Driz.

Delete Banfield from my life. He has these games where he pops up and kicks a goal, but he is just crap. Case and point, that play in the 3rd quarter where Dogga got that kick away, Banfield drops/Fumbles the ball and it goes down the other end for a goal. These are the mistakes I am talking about. He is a massive momentum killer.

I Have said it all year and I will keep saying it until the match committee start taking their ****ing jobs seriously: start dropping players who fumble, turn it over, give away stupid free kicks. We can't keep carrying these blokes.
