Shouldn't have played IPL but money talks.

You can't really blame him - he hasn't been offered contracts in the IPL throughout his career despite being an international lock. Had a good season on low money and is trying to cash in before he's done. Those waterfront mansions in Sydney aren't cheap.

He's now part of the squad if I'm not mistaken. Didn't he pick up an injury recently?
Thought I read Neser came into the WTC squad after Hazlewood's injury.

He's the perfect bowler for English conditions and is in great form with bat and ball. We're not going to play him and it'll cost us IMO.

England to win 3-2 (weather permitting) in what will go down as a series for the ages. Great cricket ahead.

We agreed to play Starc to compensate for India losing Bumrah. Have to make things interesting.

I think Neser would be at risk of being Bazballed. He's low 130s and bowls a very full length. His test successes have been with the pink ball, and division 2 of the county championship is far short of test standard. I like the team that's been picked.

This current team will try to Bazball anyone. They reckon Starc will be the number one target by right handers and there are probably going to be 5 of those the top seven.

Neser seems to be bowling ok in county matches and seems very suited to the conditions. Anderson and Broad bowl very full and in the low to mid 130s (very occasionally near 140) just like Neser. And they do alright in English conditions.

Torn between wanting Australia to win and knowing an India win would probably be the best thing that could happen for the future of test cricket.
I hate this so much.

But I respect it.
