I was still a kid at 20 (probably at 30 as well, even though I was married well before then).
A couple of generations ago 20 year olds were adults, many of them married, the main breadwinner, setting up a home & even going off to war. Many 20 year olds nowadays are still living at home, studying at uni/tafe, maybe working part-time, having their meals prepared & washing done by mum & are not even contemplating marriage. They are kids.
The peculiar power trip of the demonising “other” that’s all I seeDoes anyone need a reason to do something nowadays?
Natanui is not in that league.Brief bit of pedantry.
Once in a generation talent or "generational" talent.
Horribly misused term.
The following current players are eligible.
Natanui
Franklin
Ablett
They are all absurd talents whose athletic abilities and performances stand apart.
Players like Dangerfield, Fyfe, Martin, Selwood are all exceptional but there are exceptional players in every generation.
If you aren't likely to be spoken about like Doull or Carey or Polly Farmer 30y after you hang em up, you're not generational talent

Thy in the blue shirt...spinning as usual
The Big Footy in motion!
What you talkin bout. Bolts has described them as kids himself.we're not discussing their mental development - are you really suggesting you'd say to bolton whilst he stood there with a few young players around him at training (including weits) "so, bolts, how are the kids developing?" what a joke
Yep you’re right. I read somewhere he was at 244 but he’s on 243. I guess it’s richmond at the G.I thought it was Round 1 next year?
I only own one putter. But i do have 3 sets of clubs sitting in my garage
It's part time and being paid peanuts.
He'll be at Carlton full time next year.
Yeah I 'spose. It is what it is...
I actuallly think they do my very x 10 good friend. TV, attedences, etc go up with a strong Carlton.the entire comp don't give a **** about a strong carlton
Just ignore stuff on FB.Someone on Facebook has just mentioned the Cripps has signed on. Has anyone else seen this reported?
Forget Gaff. He won't be coming to Carlton. Reckon he goes to Melbourne if he comes back to Vic.Good footballer who is having a really good year, I think he'll sign on with Port Adelaide.
If we're going for an outside player I'd much rather we part with the extra cash required to get Gaff.
True, but you have to offer overs to get them out of their club.About $150000 more than he's worth in my opinion
Exactly.Enough with the Weitering trade stuff. Ludicrous suggestion.
Would certainly help. It's happening. As I'm lead to believe, we think the Graham Allan becoming football manager would perhaps be able to facilitate this.
Clubs might enquire, but SOS won't trade him.Contracted for another 3 years, doubt it will be discussed much at all.
Lets not go overboard.I'd imagine even Jacob himself might crack a smirk at it.
