I’m at my sons basketball tryout. Head coach is mates with Shiels father. Dylan used to play here. Parents are very keen to have Dylan play at Blues. Massive Carlton fans. Coach is Blues fan also and is confident. Expects decision MON or TUE.

Sounds like the DS news is coming from multiple sources. What a few days this has been for our footy club.

If you know anything about my posts, you'd know that I don't care for outlandish statements and I certainly don't 'fish' for likes..

I'm not going to say anything much about where I got this info and frankly, I can't guarantee the reliability. However, there was recently something that came out publicly that I was aware of WAY earlier bc of this person who is quite closely linked to the club. It was only then that I realised this person may actually know a thing or two, which gives me some confidence in what they're saying.

I normally wouldn't post something like this, but I think we're at the point now that 'where there is smoke, there is fire' and there seems to be an ever growing amount of smoke..

Anyway, it has been said that we have both Shiel and Setterfield. They're ours. I'd be expecting it to break tomorrow, maybe Tuesday. If it turns out not to the case, I will never post anything like this again

Seems to be a few excellent posters who recur each year - love reading the ericpascoe, barrass and ms3 stuff.

I will just say to anyone faking connections or more likely, faking to know more than you do, please resist the temptation. It's really annoying and not worth it compared to the little jolt of ego boost you receive.

There must be some as Ive read some contradicting stuffc, e.g. about hawks v blues for setterfield.

Totally unnecessary to just make sh*t up and dilutes the quality of this thread/forum which I think has been exceptional over the last couple of works.

Dare I say the renaissance of the BF Carlton board tied beautifully to the renaissance of the club over this trade period and into 2019 - I’m getting teary guys.

Would be interesting to see the comparison in contracts between Setters & SPS.
