I have a rumour. Source is third hand via my brother so for gods sake don't bother putting it on the official bluemour thread as it's probably rubbish BUT I wanna leave it here in the chat in case it does eventuate. Hearing Shiel and Setters is done for next year's first and second and Casboult plus some swapping of this year's picks. I don't personally believe it but FWIW it did come thru to me before Setters' announcement.

Impossible anyway...if you trade your future first you’re not allowed to trade any other future picks for that year....at least that’s my understanding

Temper those expectations.

Should certainly see improvement, but Russell's impact probably won't be felt for at least 12 months, Setterfield is a 20yo coming off an ACL, and McGovern has played 12 and 13 games in the last two seasons.

Minimal injuries, with professional recovery expectations.
6+ wins and no massive drubbings.
Smash at least 2 sides (30+pts).
Percentage no lower than 85%.

That'll be a good year in my book.

If we finish with 85% plus than I'll be very happy

I for one, don’t want to hear anymore rumours regarding Shiel. Clearly he is a money man, which there is nothing wrong with that at all. But his manager and (him) are just holding out to wring the last dollar which kind of sucks to be truthful.
Do we actually have any rumours apart from Dylan (I’ll make a decision come the end of the century) Shiel ?
