I'm more excited for how he'll strengthen setters and a few of the other boys cases
We had the most games lost through injuries this year, we need him as much as onfield players
As long as he can put a band aid on a sore without stuffing it up gives us at least 10% improvement in our fitness department.

Interesting one this is.
Shiel left Everybody at Giants HQ and I mean everybody with the intentions that he is coming to us.
Might be all piss farting around at the moment to increase $$ or whatever else may be the reason for this delay.

Still sticking to my guns. Shiel wants to be with us. Has since day dot

**** going onto * board for the melts, go to the saints board theirs one campaigner whos wrote 2 post probably over 500+ words into why carlton are so terrible, fmd how salty can they be?
Seriously have a look at this lmfao

Just my 2 cents too mate, but its like I have teleported back to 2007 / 2008 and all I can hear is “They know we are coming”

Bryce Gibbs, Josh Kennedy, Marc Murphy, Matthew Kruezer, Andrew Walker (all top 3 picks) +

Fev, Waite, Betts, Kouta, Lappin, Whitnall, Simpson, Carrazzo and Stevens.

“That’s a core that takes you to the top”

They then added Judd to that group and that got them absolutely nowhere (cough Shiel cough). I would take our current list over theirs anyday - and I don't even rate our list that highly!

Only my opinion, but based on their b+f results they will get significantly worse before they get any better. Importantly, that type of environment can really stifle player development (see GC). So no matter how high the talent base you bring in is, if you put them in that type of environment then many will struggle (players like Cripps are the exception not the rule that way). Weitering is the prime example.

Cripps, Doc and maybe C.Curnow as the only certainties from that list. The rest either have some massive question marks or are simply unexposed kids who could be absolutely anything (including not much).

For me they are absolutely faaarrrrked …. and I love it!! Seriously, if anyone is feeling down this trade period go and look at their B+F results. You will feel soooo much better about our list!
They are actually right about our only certainties. That's why development is the most important thing now, we have the talent.
If we get that right than watch out.

A four time premiership player and premiership midfield coach? Yeah not positive at all.

Look - probably not a popular opinion.... But I'm running with it. I thought the same about Sam Mitchell thought he was an absolute A****LE wanted to slap him every time i saw him... UNTIL I actually met him a few times via a mutual friend that's an ex-Dork as well. I have to say he is actually a ripping bloke and you could see that our young mids would benefit an absolute heap by having him there. Make no mistake the Dorks have done very very well in snagging him back. Like i said just my 2 cents -

Impossible anyway...if you trade your future first you’re not allowed to trade any other future picks for that year....at least that’s my understanding
Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain you can trade more than one IF you trade another back in. So, something including our future first and second Fo gws' future second.

Sam Walsh reminds me of Ben Cousins.

I couldn't put my finger on it, but the Dow/Walsh = Judd/Cousins post joined the dots
