Well, just caught up and have learned nothing that I didn't know last night. Just in time to close the thread and before I get to the new one I'll already be ten pages behind.

Damn you guys are relentless. Constantly 20+ pages behind.

No hope of catching up now unless I skip pages.

Just want to add to the general chorus re SPS. Guy is pure SILK. We'll regret it big time if he's traded.
Same as me, I have about 40 pages to catch up on and have had to skip some pages. I am nearly there.

Great post.

What I will add is that Sam Walsh has shown true leadership potential already. Look at how important Luke Hodge and Joel Selwood have been to their teams. Sam Walsh has the potential to bring that to our team 6/7/8 years down the road.

Leadership drives standards.

Sam Walsh in Navy Blue please.

The commentry on this kid is no different to any other of the pick 1's. What concerns me is the hooks into the geelong footy club for a few of our high draft recruits, Walsh included.

Good call. And when Crippa & Doc get to 29-30 Walsh will be 24 or so and ready to take the gig. Perfect.

Hey, hold up!

I never told you why she played us the song. It was a hook for a greater message. The message actually was - “how can we teach so that we are not just being another brick in the wall, how can we teach so that we are being authentic and therefore meaningful and transformational for our students”.

It had nothing to do with pop culture or that the song had something to teach us about education.

Sorry, I probably should have said the reason in my original post.
Authentic, meaningful and transformational.

Meaningless buzz words without context or purpose.

"Hi Mr Shie- ... Smith, how's the arm feeling?"

"Pardon?"

"Never mind. Now, about that nasty dislocation, let's see if we can't Setterfi- ... I mean, set it back in place."

"...Are you on your phone?"

"No no no, you have my Restricted Free Age- ... undivided attention."
