If hawks are prepared to deal Burton as part of this deal they aren’t as smart as what they and everyone thinks they are. Stupidity.

No first round draft pick again and trade out one of only 2 or 3 players under 24 that are any good on their list. Better win the flag in the next 2 years as they are clearly desperate to have a crack at one more before they become irrelevant in the 20s!

Burton seems crazy but I guess they are thinking Sicily is going to play a third tall role down back and Burton doesn't really play KP.
I guess he is like our version of Plowman (just a lot better) where he is a good player but with Marchbank in the side he might be dispensable due to matchup reasons

getting Shiel would make it an exceptional trade period.

But don't see how you are denying what i'm saying...when someone asks what Carlton's colour is, you say navy blue. You don't say blue and white.
That makes us likely the 1 colour team.
