He'd absolutely improve us. Hard working and tough. Yes he's not the sexiest target but he'll show a few up in terms of courage.
Courage is the base pass mark from me

Langdon and Martin are worth about pick ~20 so we may be able to work things out for all three. If Papley is out it should be easy done imoThat tells me Martin,Papley are out and Langdon is in..
We couldn’t have the ammo for all of em could we?
True, but even when Richmond were losing finals every year they did have a Brownlow medallist, Coleman medallist and a multiple AA full back. Whilst I enjoyed their era of mediocrity, I sorta always knew looking at the list that they had the potential to be a top 4 side. They also built through the draft which I liked.Love this though it sounds so much like Richmond
You are correct. What GWS will try is to make a combined offer of their cap plus AFL dirty money to make an offer higher than what we can make anyway.
That way Cogs never even signs our offer.
e.g. 800k salary plus 800k ambassador payments.
f u gil!!!!
Club confident but not certain on Cogs (as everyone knows, just confirming). Advanced discussions with Paps and Martin. The outcome of these impacts Levi. If all come to pass, then there may be inadequate money for Levi compared to other offers. Disappointingly not in discussions with Callum Ah Chee. (Hope this is incorrect). Anticipated completed trades, 4-5.
Crippa needs more help, having 2 players hanging off him is gonna wear him down.Could be a useful weapon for protecting Cripps at ball ups/throw ins, if nothing else. Kinda like his aggression though.
Powell-Pepper reportedly told he should be prepared to be used as trade bait this year... any use to us?

For the 6-8 games a season he'd play, so they shouldn't.
Wouldnt Levis be automatic? Thats how triggers work.Club confident but not certain on Cogs (as everyone knows, just confirming). Advanced discussions with Paps and Martin. Don't want predators at the club.
I know our Midfield is getting stacked, but i feel people are selling what Ed Langdon would bring to our team a bit short. His pace alone would be fantastic let alone his tackling pressure and sense around goals.
One we “Russellize” Elliot he’ll be playing 22 games per year.......
You bet!Let’s just say the ‘culture’ that exists down there with some of these guys must not be injected anywhere near our youngsters. Big NO from me.
Plenty of natural ability, looked good in his first couple of seasons but absolute moron. If you read him the riot act and put him in a strong environment might get the best out of him.
Their entire spine of Hurley, Hooker, Daniher and Stringer are AA players and they have two AA mids in their prime. They have a core group.True, but even when Richmond were losing finals every year they did have a Brownlow medallist, Coleman medallist and a multiple AA full back. Whilst I enjoyed their era of mediocrity, I sorta always knew looking at the list that they had the potential to be a top 4 side. They also built through the draft which I liked.
Essendon have none of that. They’ve looked for short cuts, have no star power and haven’t valued the draft. They’re a 5th-10th placed side, there is no way they are winning a flag with this list. So the longer they keep this list together the better imo.
The type that looks better in Navy Blue than purple??
Not a bad shout..Their entire spine of Hurley, Hooker, Daniher and Stringer are AA players and they have two AA mids in their prime. They have a core group.
After seeing Richmond win one when 95% of people were saying they should rebuild at the end of 2016, same as Geelong 2015, I’m not truly writing any side off.
It would probably take them trading to get a B Crouch into that side, abit of luck, a Lions type injury run and probably coaching changes but that’s what Richmond got too.
Langdon could be a Newman like trade, added depth who might surprise us. Some players really excel when they join a new team with a different game style. If we got him for pick 35 plus I would be happy.
ConiglioCrippa needs more help, having 2 players hanging off him is gonna wear him down.
Need another elite mid to take some pressure off Crippa. Give more time for our youngins to develop.
