You would think the only official announcement we would hear before GWS' season is over is if he decides to stay. Hard to imagine him announcing he's leaving before their season is done.

If it gets us the best ruck in the AFL then its worth it. Harry is expendable and easily replaceable by TDK.

Well maybe you should go and follow them, sounds like your pretty keen

I think he might anyway. Join date 7 years ago 50 odd posts with 30 of them in this thread in the last 4-6 weeks.

You can understand how people who are regular contributors might feel a bit sceptical as to whether this is a Benny account

If Cogs wants to throw away his prime that's fine, we don't need him to continue to grow as a football club (although it'd obviously be very, very nice to have him.) If he does nominate Hawthorn (because nothing is set in stone), we need to turn our attention to quality players that want to join, if it's Papley and Martin then whoo-hoo, if it's Brandon Ellis and Dan Butler then we'll take it. If we show even more improvement next season and push for finals, then we can have another crack at the top FA's next year i.e Whitfield.

But hey, Cogs could come and then who f*****g cares we're on our way to becoming a powerhouse.

Can we just let this all play out and have a bit of perspective?

It’s as if we haven’t learnt from last years Shiel drama, where, if we’d been successful, we might have missed out on Walsh and Stocker.

Sure it would be great to get Cogs, but I’m certain SOS and Co. have plenty more in the works than just one player. We are looking to build a team where the components complement each other on and off the field.

FWIW, my source, a mad Hawks supporter with links to managers and ex-players, was adamant a week ago that something drastic would need to change for Cogs not to be in navy blue next year.
