I hope he comes to us. But from what I heard, he feels, Geelong is closer to challenging.

Who isn't connected to Geelong, Dangerfield, Henderson, Treloar, wow they're doing well

Carlisle would be a great pick up. Means I'd have to soften my stance on the WADA issue though...

If someone we could swing Carlisle, Aish and even Dixon, that would be a huge start to the rebuild. I'd expect us to go after a GWS youngster with SOS knowing their list so well.

Pardon my ignorance, but why the **** is Kreuzer leaving via free agency?!??

It all comes down to money, I am certain other clubs may make Kruezer a big offer that club would be reticent to match.

Given his history of injuries, Kruezer would probably have to settle for 'Unders' if he stays (pretty sure the club won't match, say Richmond offering him 600 K a season)

Kreuzer stated during the week that he loves Carlton and will not be looking at offers from other clubs and wont hold the club to ransom.
He wont leave if it his choice and I cant see the club screwing him by waiting until the end of the year to see what compo we may get for him. The club will do the right thing by him and I am sure a new contract will be offered soon and he will stay.

Would you make a ruck who's gad a knee reco, foot problems an offer worth band one compo? Let's face it, he's not even a top 5 league ruckman.
He'll probably never be a Top 5 ruckman, but what he brings to the team is far more than any of the Top 5 ruckmen offer.

Sandilands and Mumford I rate higher than Kreuzer - right now - a far as ruck rovers go- I only rate Nic Nat better - Jacobs is in the mix- Kreuzer is as good as anyone else and will be better than a retired Sandilands next year. As MS said - Kreuzer is a core player for Carlton - one o the few with a football brain and genuine heart to go with it- as well as skill, size and hardness- is my first picked player for Carlton - bar no one.

Side is two players better when he is on the paddock - as opposed to Warnock types who are a standing joke - on us.

Goldstein, Blicavs, McEvoy, Gawn, Jacobs, NicNat, Mumford I rate higher at present than Kreuzer as well.

Not sure how they can afford them all.
They would probably have room once Johnson, Enright, Kelly, Lonergan, Mackie etc all move on and there seems to be a school of thought about Motlop moving on elsewhere for more money also cant see Hamish McIntosh being around for much longer.

Wont get rid of them all at once but could see enough finish up to create cap space for 2 decent recruits next year.

They also delisted Taylor Hunt last year and gave away Allen Christensen & Travis Varcoe which would of saved some money last year.
