That will work Jabba, no matter where he ends up Carlton will always be home to him I reckon.

I loathe picking up scraps from other clubs and normally can't stand the "should we get (insert every hack on the market)".
I don't think Green is a hack. Kicking goals, regular goals, at AFL level is a real and rare talent. Now Green is no Chad Wingard, but he is a genuine goalkicker.
Get him down here in the Bell deal, get him fitter hopefully and he should be a genuine 1st 18 player and goalkicker for a long time. I don't reckon the best of him has been reached at Brisbane.

Carlisle cannot command that amount of money and we better not be offering that amount of money unless we are somehow able to move Dale Thomas's contract away from our books.

I would imagine Carlisle would not be on anything like that (700K pa) at the moment? If I had to guess 400-450 ?
Very funny on 360 tonight , completely lost it over Brisbane winning .
Stated outright that they should have tanked , amazing comment from the chief football writer of the largest selling daily .

Surely we dont fall into that amount for him, would be better off paying that for Treloar and getting the 2 big kids in the draft if Kreuzer leaves.

Heard lachie plowman and captain Phillips heading to the blues from gws? Anyone else hearing this Mail and any thoughts?
I was watching footy classified, they bought up the topic of Carlton withdrawing their offer to Kreuzer and wanting pick 2. They interviewed McKay today, he said we have not pulled out of our offer and Kreuzer is a required player, we very much do want him.
Not sure if it's been posted yet.

Has been mentioned on here earlier, Phillips would be the young developing ruckman we need and would give us options if Kreuzer did leave. Plowman would add depth also and can play both ends, both have had injury concerns which have halted their opportunities and may make both of them attainable.

We need to look like we want him to stay so other clubs offer more and to show the AFL he's important enough to us to warrant pick 2.
I really want him to leave now and if he stays I'll actually be disappointed.

We would be mad to keep him if the compo pick is band 1, especially if we are in discussions with players like Plowman and Phillips.
Think back to Roughead, Franklin and Lewis all inside the first 7 picks for Hawthorn in 2004 and what year we are in right now !!
