What I do not like is a rebuild taking 10 years. Kreuzer stays for another 4-5 years on good money. Where does it actually get us? Potentially robs us of pick 2 and the ability to lure players to the club that will be in our next tilt.

How long do you think a rebuild takes?

We already went through a rebuild we got 3 pick 1s a couple of pick 2s and has that got us any closer to a premiership. .

Reality is we need to keep guys like kruza,yaz and menz they being experience they are ready made afl players. We have lost quality players in hendo,betts,waite and laidler.

Really don't understand any of this talk about losing more players for unknown draft picks.

No way Bell = #9 but relative to Green, that's about right i.e. Green is lower value everyday.

He is no eddie betts but a very competent small forward.

I've only seen him play twice . Not overly impressed .

Pretty sure SOS came out earlier this year and said we would require 66 games in rebuild mode to be very competitive again, so approximately 3 seasons.

Of course this would have to factor in good selections and development.

you reckon Yarran and Menz have the right attitude to take us forward? I don't. Our culture isn't (yet) strong enough to get the best out of their talent. Draft hungry kids who are self starters with the picks we get for these guys.

They need the right attitude and have to want to be playing for the club, of those 3, MK to me is a definite keeper because he gives his all every time he goes out to play. We haven't seen the best of Menz due to niggly injuries and Yarren just doesn't look like he cares. Do they want to play and work hard for us? Who knows what happens inside the big Blue house.

Yep that makes sense i mean kids that may or may not make it but least there hungry that will definitely bring our club success...

We trade them because the rebuild only takes 3 years if we start getting multiple first round picks and build a list rather than a mis-mash list of plodders. If we are just going to have 1-2 1st round picks each draft that rebuild will take 5+ years. Not every 1st round pick works out (look at Watson, Lucas, Bootsma etc.) so having multiples per draft increases our chances of at least getting 1 or 2 good ones
