Ginnivan they got a 4th rounder, and swapped F2s which actually put them in a worse position because Hawthorn jumped them on the ladder.
The club should come out right now and say none of our top liners are up for trade...and stick to that. Petracca in for harry isn't a win for us. We don't need another big bodied mid that can play forward, especially a 28 year old that has just suffered a career threatening injury.
Cerra and a pick would be as much as I'd give up.
And the filth...apart from them not having any early picks, they also don't really have any stars that they'd trade. They're not trading DeGoey or Daicos.

I'm not sure if Gawn's coach worked the magic, or it was Gawn's drive & physique that netted the results, but I suspect more the latter than the coach.
We have 2 pretty handy ruckmen (well, one and a half) , so I'm of the opinion if it aint broke...

This is my opinion too. You exhaust every avenue to get a top 3-5 player in the comp when he wants to get to your club
We are not 1 player away from a premiership. Petracca will be like a 2 to 3 season sugar hit and we are setting ourselves up to fall off a cliff. It really smells like old Carlton. A good Key Back will have as much influence at less price than Petracca. Our weakness is not in the midfield. If he was 24, I might do it. He is 29 next year

I’d rather much bring in Dan Houston and Leek Aleer this year than bring in Petracca for what it would cost and it would be much better for team balance and what we actually need.

Harry and Charlie are key pillars of the football club and I’d be worried about team harmony in a trade of this magnitude.

Sure, if it's on terms very agreeable to us, and we don't end up selling (or even partially selling) the farm by trading away our top key position players, like Curnow or Harry!
The way you put it, reeks of desperation to me.
If all our gun players are quite happy to remain in blue, forget it!
Petracca IS NOT Harry or Curnow plus something else, it’s a straight swap at worst.
Wouldn’t do it personally, if we found another way I’d consider it

If he comes back the same player, I’d do Harry personally for him, I know a lot around here won’t do it and I also don’t begrudge it, but Trac would be a phenomenal person to have around the club.
A 1-2 combo between he and Crippa would be unstoppable.
