Aleer sounds great but imo a guy that isn’t best 22 just isn’t a 1st round pick trade.

Our 2025 2nd and our 2024 3rd gets the deal done. GWS are fair traders and he is sitting behind a very good group of key defenders. His price hasn’t improved from his draft pick.

Sure he makes some errors but you judge him far too harshly both for what we paid for him and for his age and experience.

No, not at all. I'd be reticent to use a top 30 pick for someone who is a pure stopper so far. He was a reach then, he'd still be a reach now.

He does pick and choose a bit, and he is not quick. I'm very glad we have him, he's a long term player if he wants it enough...but I can see how folks may be less enthusiastic.

In a world where the pick is based on talent not future injuries.

Bloke has talent oozing but his body or our club have let him down, more than likely a combination of both.

JM was one of the hardest hitters I’ve seen in a while at Carlton. His hip and shoulders were great, unfortunately too far and few between.

I recall last year not sure who on but he rocked a bloke all legally.

Goodness sake he injured himself and fog by accident with a rock solid bump.

Feel sorry for the guy. Would loved for him to be a club champ.
