Bigger clubs don't really have that problem. They will just trade for someone as usual.

But even with the trading of future draft picks extending to +2 years, there's only so many players you can get back in for first and second rounders.

One player just cost them a first and second rounder. You can only trade 1 absolute max 2 players every year with this price tag.

There also only so many FAs you can sign even prior to running in to issues with cap space.

It is utter arrogance to think you can continue on without ever going to the draft.

I think by the time they are going to need the draft, they're going to need it desperately and the drafts are going to be compromised.

It's going to be awesome to watch.

I assume they are going to get all these compo picks that will help them greatly in the end.

I doubt they will all retire at the same time as well. Only way this really backfires on them is if they have like 5 retirements in the same year.
