Did you back many winners on Saturday?
Any tips for the cup tomorrow?
Up and down all day then finished poorly…. subbed out late !!

My top 5 for the Cup at this early stage…. 15-14-9-13-8 🤷‍♂️

May end up backing the same horse I lost my money on last year….. Vauban

Had a chat to most:

...

I also asked if Saad could move to a new role or could play elsewhere…. He said “ no he can’t run”, I specifically asked if he could go to half forward or wing and he said no he doesn’t have the running capacity to do either of those roles.

Do you know if he was alluding to Saad's, speed, stamina or the fact that he's suffered a permanent injury that prevents that (ie. ankle)?

He didn’t elaborate and I never pushed…
Said he can’t run and I interpreted it as he doesn’t have the tank to get up towards the total km’s that is required to play a wing or half forward role but the more I think about it he may well be meaning the recent injuries have really pulled him up.

Even Saad himself said a couple of years ago he doesn’t have a tank to play wing

That's the first thing I thought. Saady of 2022 had a lot more run in him.

We’ve spoken with Matthew Allison, unsure if it’s AFL or VFL related.
Fantastic, that's the kind of due diligence I want to see.

temu blake acres
Much better forward, more inside leaning as a mid at this point in terms of build and skills.

Endurance base would be lower, game sense the big separator you'd think. But he's 22, and the Saints have tried to shoehorn him into being a key forward.

Good. Get him.

Matthew Allison can win the QF for us off his own boot, leaving the PF and GF to Blake Acres.
i was being flippant but he'd be a great pickup for the VFL team, think he's probably got NIck Graham syndrome where he isn't quite at the level to make it as an AFL player but that may also have been injuries or as Jimmae said, that they were insisting on turning a tall flanker into a key forward

The answer is: both.

194cm & 80 kgs at draft, 88 kgs last time it was recorded, and I assume that's gone up this year to about 92-94 kg.

Flipping flippancy...it always starts there...then its irony then sarcasm and eventually full blown cynicism.
Stop before its too late mate.......we are here for you........... :D :p
