I'd like think they all are genuine supporters, I know Klemich definitely is.
This might sound harsh, but the only appeal with Goodings is that he's a Channel 7 newsreader and is a favourite of the blue rinse brigade.
Maybe next year we can vote Keith Conlon onto the board too
It doesn't matter if you are indebted or if you aren't. The AFL will never let a club die now. Plenty of clubs get/have gotten AFL handouts and gone on to win premierships. I'd rather have our own member elected board and proper constitution, with the odd AFL handout here or there, than the current set up of being "financially independent" but getting reamed by the league every year and being their lapdogs because they own us.
Yep, except I think our supporters have had enough of lawyers and accountants after having Chapman run the show. Also having someone like Fagan as a CEO who was very corporate. I get your point though.
Anne Wills for CEO!I'd like think they all are genuine supporters, I know Klemich definitely is.

Rod will just jump online for some supoorter engagement the day before the vote and get in again on name recognition.

As someone said on his Twitter account, funny how it became active again after six years when it was voting time.
Did they announce what % each of the unsuccessful candidates got?The only two to get more than 9% of the vote we’re Goodings and Jameson.
I think Goodings will be a legit member voice and won’t be afraid to rock the boat if need be.
Jameson, well we can try and out him again next year.
or total votes?Did they announce what % each of the unsuccessful candidates got?
The only positive I can see there is Goodings got the 2 years over Jameson, also that the club cares a lot more about diversity of thought than the members do...View attachment 1336653
Nothing about total votes. I wonder if it was as little as 20% of the eligible member base.
Which is why I hope next year is a much smaller fieldHaving multiple candidates will only help the recognised candidates, those that don't want to vote for someone like Jamo end up splitting their votes.
Haha just goes to show how insignificant the members are that get on this Big Footy board are in te bigger picture.View attachment 1336653

what did he actually reply with?Good to see Jamo double down on his radio interview regarding hubs.
#committedwhat did he actually reply with?
Just in time for DMac to run......Eventually the majority of the member base are going to not know who Rod Jameson is. He last played in 1999 so probably only a few years to go.
Committed to what? The club, not your family?
