Why aren't you down there, Sporty???

Looks like Geelong got a few goals during Time On in the 1st quarter. And someone reported on the Main Board that Darcy has done his knee. Hope it isn't a season ender. :(

At work watching the score on AFL.COM.AU

LOL At home doing the same with Saturday Night Live on the TV. And IMing my brother in downstate Illinois.

Not looking good.

Darcy won't play any part in the match. He is on crutches.

Second goal to Cooney. Geez.. I wish I could see him play. He was dropped for the Carlton match I saw last year at Optus during my Melbourne visit.

I reckon hes twice the player he was last year too. Hey I went across for that Carlton match from WA too - at least you saw a win :)

agreed. hes come along leaps and bounds this year. speak of the devil he's just dislocated a finger. but i don't think that will affect him too badly

When I visited in May/June 2002 for a month we won four out of five during my visit. Only lost to Collingwood on the day I arrived. That was our last true winning streak. Best was seeing us beat Richmond at the G.

I honestly think the Doggies have just had the edge over the Cats so far, except on the scoreboard obviously.

Geelong has been getting quite a few niggly little lucky decisions from the umpire, and two of their goals have come from Bulldog backman brainfarts.

Still a big show, but the loss of Darcy will probably be too much for them to cover. (good game though)

dogs can play better (then again so can the cats), but if we could win this game effectively without darcy and a player short on the bench, what a win it would be. gilbee is the matchwinner so far, needs more support from a couple of the younger blokes. minson playing a great game once again

Yikes - The K-Rock 'Doc' just said that at best Darcy may be out for 4-5 weels - At worst - he may be out for the season. Lets hope he has the same recovery powers as Harro..

Dang it - another Geelong goal

These K-Rock commentators are clearly barracking for Geelong. Ottens got a goal & they were shrieking with ecstatic glee akin to what you may hear in a porno movie ... and then compare it to when Guido got a goal & its like 'yeah yeah whatever .. another goal to the bulldogs'

i think grants done well this game on ottens. had minimal impact really. chapman very dangerous for the cats. cooney quiet in the third term but look dangerous when hes near it.

The dogs are the unluckiest sons of bitches in the competition. The ball aint bouncing for them, the umpires are being generous to Geelong, and the one imposing bigman in the team (Minson not withstanding) is out for a while.

Goddamit, when will they get some friggin luck?
