Jamie Graham? Feck that, he didn’t even put his hat into the ring when he had a chance to coach us.
Like I said before this game, I don’t think Noble can coach and we should throw everything at Clarko. Players would come as a free agent because we have him. He has also shown he can coach players well at an early age. He is exactly what we need.

I doubt that anybody in the coaching staff really thought that a win was possible tonight. Unless Brisbane crapped themselves and blew it so badly....
But even if a loss is expected / anticipated, the logic I would apply is that the team would be picked to give every player the best chance to be successful and to play a style of football that uses the attributes of the players on the ground. Players selected in the position that suits their skills, experience and other attributes that made the selectors pick them for the game tonight or at worst, players matched up to an opponent that they are likely to be able to beat or equal - or where that simply isn't possible due to not having a match-up, selecting somebody who will benefit from the experience as opposed to burining somebody.
Who knows, sometimes a team can learn some lessons from a loss. Tonight the team most likely learned nothing. But you'd hope that the club learned something and you'd hope they will take heed of the lesson.

If he doesn’t make a call on Ziebell one way or another soon, then it will be Bye Bye No Balls.
He hung LMac out to dry tonight because he currently has a Captain that he needs to try and protect and knows is throwing the balance of his back 6 out.

I think Clarko would pick a few clubs over us.
I actually think Clarko gets a bit overrated.
He was kissed on the dick by his list management team who gave him a bloody good list of talent, which was perpetuated by them being able to top up with top quality free agents.
Last year when they had to clearly rebuild, he didn’t look up to it.
Don’t get me wrong was a great coach and his record speaks for itself, but not sure this side would be that much better under his guidance? We might have a better game plan, but not sure even he is polishing this turd.
So what? If its Clarkson, has to be Clarko. The club has to make their move on him. No game plan, none, zero. Man on man shit doesn’t ****ing work. What have they been doing all pre season? This is a joke. Im ****ing sick and tired of this shit. Last year it looked, it honestly ****ing looked like we were on a steady incline. **** off
What he would bring is respect and talent, on the field and in the coaches box.

I want effort. If we lose giving our all then so be it. There are too many players looking like they don’t give a damn. In that case, Noble should drop them and give a young kid a shot. At least they will try.
I really want Noble to succeed but like many if you, I don’t know what our game plan is.
Last of all, I want to see improvement. There are glimpses of play where we look great but they are too few and far between.
I know the rebuild will take time but we need some hope and right now apart from JHF, I have very little.

I'd take him on as a senior assistant at a minimum.

Looks like a good decision by Roosy to move on from us - I'm sure he could see the writing on the wall and that his decision to bring in Nobes was just not going to work.
We were PUTRID last night.
Nobles presser was spot on. He is no dodo.
I’m coming to the realisation we simply have a stack of young C-D grade footballers that for some reason, are not progressing. It is shattering as a hard-core NM fan to see where we are. Maybe our current playing group is just not AFL standard, and never will be…….
It might be like Australia playing Holland in Test cricket and the Dutch coach is trying to implement plans to knock the Aussies off. No matter what he does, it ain’t happening because his players are so much inferior.
I’m interested to see what response the players provide next week. Sadly, I’m not expecting a great deal because like the Dutch cricketers, no matter how hard they train or how hard they try, they’re not going to trouble their more talented opponents.
