We've got some very knowledgable experts here on Big Footy, but when it comes down to it we all like to think we know our fair share about the game we love ...
So with that in mind, I'm proposing this thread be used for yer 'average expert' to make their predictions for the upcoming National Draft :

a couple of 'rules' :

* select as many draftees (in order) as you want, be it a top 5, top 10, top 50 or the whole damn lot, it's up to you - when it's all done and dusted those who have done well can be determined on a percentage basis ...

* no editing your post after it's been submitted ! Make sure you're happy with your selections and check them before posting

* Don't bother criticising anyone else's draft order predictions, we're only a week and a bit away from all arguments being settled - just post your predictions and leave it at that ...

I wanted to post a top 15 which I felt was distinctly different from those above but still reasonably feasible in content - (I am not disagreeing with the ideas already put forward - Many of them are very reasonable assumptions).

I tried to emphasise the best talent (as percieved by me) over positional needs and current form and injury till about pick 10~11. In reality, the clubs with the extra high pick will probably try for a more position oriented player than the ones I have nominated, and others (Essendon, Brisbane) might take the gamble the other way and just go for what they need.

I can see the justification, but I think addressing our need for highly skilled, quality midfielders is our most pressing concern. Our backline is getting on a bit, but Maxwell, J.Cloke (not holding my breath) and possibly T.Cloke would help address it.

yeah t.cloke in the backline would be robbing your forward line of some extra fire power. as for J.cloke he's finished teams have worked him out and tactically take him out of the game. take a quality midfielder with your second pick and try and take a punt with your 3rd.
