If we only win one more game for the year (unlikely), then we will miss the eight according to my ladder predictor.
If we lose all three games to Essendon, Hawthorn and Sydney as expected but beat both West Coast and North Melbourne, we'll play Richmond.
If we lose of those games to West Coast or North Melbourne we will finish 8th and play Sydney/Fremantle away...
This is assuming we beat GWS first...

We can't finish last anymore, we have too many wins. The lowest we can finish at this stage is 10th or 11th.

Chances we could even play Carlton in an elimination final. Richmond have a very tough draw coming up, but I'd love either Richmond V Collingwood or Carlton V Collingwood elimination final.

No...because we could win. If we finish 9th, we can't win.
Great attitude mate... Wo you would rather finish 10th over 8th for a shot at a higher pick. Glad u have nothing to do with the club.
We should still make top 8 and I still think we will win a final as well. I'd love to take on the Tigers, and I wouldn't rule us out with our backs against the wall against Freo either.

OK, for mine, if it's a deep draft, we should still be able to make something out of pick 12/13 vs pick 9/10, and it's hard to see us sliding any lower than 10th / 11th on the ladder, were we to tank - which could have an adverse Impact on the playing group. But just my opinion.
We can't fall lower then 10th.
Falling to tenth on the ladder in a single season isn't going to hurt the long term of our player group or culture, we fell a lot harder in 04 and 05.
In fact putting the players carrying injuries off to surgery and allowing everyone to come back fresh in pre-season and having a bigger pre season will allow us to hit the ground running in 2014.
Also this allows young players to get games who wouldn't normally showing where they need to get to over pre-season.
