I agree with Gibcus, but think the best KPD will be gone before our pick, if we keep it.

How much emphasis needs to be placed on, these kids not only have played much footy this year, but barely played last year?

There is usually so much movement in player rankings, how much of this years rankings, are just assumptions that players have maintained their level?

Unless playing WAFL, SANFL or a little bit of VFL but that’s still missing the critical last months of development & also raising the bar at finals time.

There may still be some champs/rep matches to see some youngsters show their wares but looking less likely before cricket season comes around.

I think it’s a long shot but we need to get very creative and somehow come up with an acceptable combination to trade for GWS Pick 2 or GC Pick 3 by using future picks/players only.

Assuming we’ll need to keep #6 for Cerra.

Rival clubs may be cautiously waiting on our coaching selection though before they try to project where our future first may end up in 2022.

Take Goater/Ward/Roberts/Johnson/Browne with 12. (Comparisons of Yeo/Walsh/Sloane/Cripps/Guthrie)

Solves the KPD issue and adds 2 mids for Cripps and 6.

Cerra offsets the Cripps money, so maybe we consider that Coniglio salary dump in the GWS swap.

This is exactly the concept I was throwing around in my head, you've nailed it perfectly, also include the Cripps trade scenario...

The deal for Cerra is in our favour, can’t see Freo accepting that.

I think giving up pick 6 for Cerra looks inevitable, but i think we need to get there 2nd round pick in return.. Then package up both our 2nd and there 2nd for a pick back in the first round.

It's typical of any institution, 1600 boys, at least 300 staff and another hundred fringe players, you're going to get varied opinions. Mine is from the management, teaching staff side, is yours from the footy side?? Be genuinely interested where your info comes from...

I would be keeping pick 6 big time, and be offering Freo SPS (they are chasing him anyway supposedly) and next years first rounder, and whatever else it takes to hang onto our first this year!!!
