I think this knifing of the coach when they said they wouldn't knife him is totally OUT OF CHARACTER for Chris, like when he slipped out of character to wrench Leigh Adams shoulder from its socket, go the pressure points, elbow that bloke in the face etc etc.

That bloke was Matt Pavlich. Turns out that only six stitches is insufficient force by the then MRP. Good thing that wasn't fixed by AFL House.

You also neglected to mention the eye gouging.....twice.

He's a class act all round

When we played you blokes a few weeks ago, Cunnington just picked Stocker up and threw him out of the way.

It kind of summed up everything that was going wrong at Carlton.

if cripps had done the same thing to dylan clarke yesterday maybe bolton would have a job.

they would have persisted with bad results until the end of the season if the effort was there. but yesterday cripps giving up basically delivered the finishing blow.

And the basket case club continues on its merry way, Carlton is ****** for at least the next 5 years as a new coach comes in and undoes any good Bolton did in order to put “his own stamp on the club”.

Yes - madness from us - why would we want to remove that 4 from 47 stamp that Bolts manage to imprint on the place.

I could see this being a turning point in terms of AFL clubs having their choice of coaching candidates.

Nobody ever passes up the opportunity to coach an AFL club as the thinking is there’s so few opportunities.

But really, if you’re a highly rated coaching prospect, I could see passing up the Carlton job.

Bolton was as highly rated as anybody and was the new dawn. He’s gone.

I reckon you take your chances getting another job over the next few years.

Malthouse certainly acted like a man being pushed against his will by the end there. petulant child who reneged on a succession plan contract he’d signed three years earlier

Has SOS brought in 1 decent rookie? 1 decent cheap trade or 1 decent late pick?

I love these absolutely blinded Carlton fans who think he has brought in talent through some high draft picks anyone could have taken reading the herald sun draft predictor the night before.

The list manager has zero idea.

I'll be watching Footy Classified tonight.

Chris Judd said many times that Bolton will coach until the end of the year.

Feel sorry for Bolts but the list will be good soon enough, plenty of KPP talent the midfield needs work and Matt Rowell could have been
a good pick one for the Blues.

Crows are in the box seat this year with pick one.

This game was the tipping point. New coach has a big task and I reckon a few mature aged players from state leagues will be acquired.

I was at the North v Richmond VFL on Saturday and in that game alone there were multiple blokes who would walk into Carlton's best 22.

In particular Jacob Townsend from the Tigs, Jack Graham as well. Get blokes like that in. Dom Tyson from us.

It's got the Port Power job in 2012 feel about it. People wondered who'd actually want the job.
