Wouldn't have been the players decision before we get too harsh on them.
The playing group might need these later.

Given the 4 day forecast predicted the rain, It wouldn't have hurt the club to have a little weather permitting caveat.....sounds like the ground was a bit more effected than they predicted but.
It was clearly a joke, so before you roll your eyes again maybe you should lighten up.

Apparently Ratts rang SEN and said the game will be on next friday at 4pm with a sausage sizzle.
Also said Murphy would play in week 2 or 3 of NAB cup or pre season challenge, Warnock has been doing full training since xmas and hasn't missed and Yarran has been in the top 3 trainers this pre-season.

Ratten just on SEN saying that they have had the flu through the club and they were down to 16 a side with no bench, and with some of the guys being limited for game time (due to return from injury) by the second half they would have had 13 on 13.I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not
The weather was just an added reason to what was looking doomed already.
4pm isn't a bad deal........work til 3 then bugger off to Visy

Sounds like the smart thing to do. There was nothing to be gained by playing the game today as we couldn't cover the positions, the skills would have been limited, the risk of injury higher. People have to put list management ahead of their own entertainment in situations like this.

Make your way to Elizabeth st then catch the tram (you'll need to check which one as I don't know those routes.) Tram stops right outside the ground.Won't have my car on me
