He repeatedly did the same thing last year with McCrae and Stringer. They seem to be holding up to repeated senior games this year so far. It will be interesting to see if they are rested at some stage in the 2nd half of the season.

Was just looking at buying tickets for tomorrows game. I wanted section 2, but it says allocation exhausted so I was pondering my options. If I buy general admission tickets where will I be able to sit? Cheers guys

Team selections this week interesting. Gia, Tutt and Roberts are definitely not guaranteed long term players at this point (Gia will most likely retire at seasons end, so this is more in reference to Tutt and Roberts). The 3 outs - Bont's, Talia and Stevens I see as all likely long term prospects.

Just thought I'd check in on the Facebook page, read two posts and the comments with the two posts. I am amazed how illiterate a lot of our supporters are on there and how little understanding they have of the subject they are posting on. Maybe our next community project should be on numeracy and literacy for adults along with footy clinics for adults teaching the basics of the game.

But Bonti was carry an injury from the week before hence why he didn't play so much and why he got dropped due to a precaution.

Then why do you think Talia can't be a star? Has a similar skill set in a bigger package. Dale was nothing at Talia's age, neither was Lake.

Would have to go with Gia as sub can't have he and dickson playing all game, If Melbourne do line up with the forward line they have named we may be a little stretched i would line up like this:

Hopefully Frawley doesn't come up otherwise i think we may be one tall short again although honestly can't see the Dees forward line working effectively with those 5 down there is is just me or would they be extremely vulnerable when the ball hit the ground.

Bontempelli has been mismanaged on one occasion - he shouldn't have been made sub, but hindsight's a wonderful thing.
Furthermore, how has Honeychurch been mismanaged? I'm the biggest Honeychurch fan on the face of the earth and can't wait for him to debut but there's no point rushing him into the side, and his form's been good at VFL level. He knows he's being rewarded for it with a place as an emergency but has to keep working and performing because a spot hasn't opened up for him just yet.

That's an interesting point. On the drive home from the Adelaide game Sloane was on the radio saying how he's rarely that stuffed after a game of footy and was just relieved to get the win, and the Swans last year mentioned how physical the Dogs can be, so we'll see how much is in that.

I think Honeychurch is a different player to Hunter, he's probably closer to the Dahlhaus mould but definitely more aggressive, not afraid to baulk and weave through, but from what I've seen he doesn't quite have that freaky streak Dahl has where he just creates something magical out of nothing.

Edit: Oh, and Honey definitely loves a scrap, more than anyone on our list that I've seen

If you get a chance watch a few games from that period. I was an early teen and it was the best time to be a Footscray supporter with those little bastards terrorizing the competition. Long live the new Wog squad.

Yeah, I've seen a few episodes of Footy Flashbacks featuring us and Dad's got the odd Name-A-Game lying around, I'd love to have been old enough to appreciate it though.

Yeah, exactly. Do nothing to warrant respect and then whinge when you don't have it. I thought Peter Gordon's 'We are the danger' comment was pretty ordinary but at least he wasn't having a whinge.

Just working on probability , we couldn't that lucky finding another Morris so quickly .which I know makes no sense at all.
But I am with you , I think at very least he will be a very good AFL player.
