I think blair would be one of the last picked as we have plenty of depth in his area and he his output has been on average modest.

Once we get 5-6 of our injured best 22 back it will be very hard for blair to keep a place

Perhaps have a think about that one mate. Why would he be one of the last picked if he has played every game?

Just wondering where Jackson Paine is at? Will he only play if Lynch/Cloke are injured?

He's been doing some good things and kicking a lot of goals at VFL level but hasnt managed to crack the seniors at this stage. Seems to be more a defensive workrate thing that we're looking for him to improve. Also, we seem set on the mozzy fleet at the feet of Cloke and Lynch at this stage. The house of Paine just has to be a little patient, even if i cant be.

Those suggesting that Witts shouldve come in for Jolly should really think about that statement. Minson is without a shadow of doubt the in form ruck of the competition. If we wanted to see Witts beaten from pillar to post then i agree, include him. Truth be told, the giant shouldve come in for Lynch for the Melbourne game after his b.o.g performance against the scum reserves.

Pull the trigger on the Broom Bucks!

Bucks has said the ideal forward structure for us is 3 big forwards with one of those being ruck/fwd so Lynch. He also said Paine has been playing well but he wants Paine to develop and work on his defensive game. So that's probably what's stopping him from getting a game atm. From what I've read on the VFL reports he has been playing well recently so hopefully soon! I guess it may collide with when Goldsack comes back as well. We'll see.

So has Bucks changed his mind since telling Dawes that a two big forward structure, with the second also playing ruck, was the way we intended to go?

Confused about how all that played out too..

He said that in a post match interview against the Lions I think it was. Well maybe he sees more upside in Paine? Maybe he wanted to play Jolly & Witts with Lynch and Cloke as forward targets? I don't know.

big chance to go 3 on the trot, I don't care who its been against a wins a win.
will leave us placed 5th on the table ready for a big 2nd half to the season.
gotta feeling the blues will get spanked tonight, which will make it better.

Interesting someone named Blair.

I haven't been a fan of his form recently. I'm not saying he needs to be dropped but he needs a lift big time.

Obvious names to come under consideration are Elliott, Dwyer, Paine and Krak.
He was poor against the Dees I agree but the poor bloke has been an absolute workhorse this year considering no Luke Ball or Beams

With Broomhead in we can begin our clean sweep home to the finals! He finally pushed his way into the side. His clean disposal should help us brush up on our forward 50 entries.

All kidding aside it is surely time to bring the Paine! They don't have the panadol down back to stop three tall forwards and this would be a good game for him to have a crack. I'm sure he'd cause a few headaches.

Nevermind, I guess I'll have enough puns to bristle the imagination with Broomhead in.

Paine has been good in the VFL and probably could come into the AFL and do alright at this stage, however he doesn't give much defensive pressure and can't ruck so there isn't really a spot for him with cloke and lynch up forward

@SamLandsberger:

COLLINGWOOD: Dwyer, Elliott in for Didak, Oxley
WESTERN BULLDOGS: Boyd, Cooney, Markovic in for Williams, Wallis, Hrovat.

Where's Dids?!?!?!?!

Guess Dids is about Finished and I was Spot on saying that Broomhead will be an emergency

Wallis out for dogs harms their chances.

Not really, hasn't been best 22 this year. Would rather Boyd than Wallis if we're trying to win games.
