I find it strange RTB only playing the one ruck! When was the last time he did that?

One thing Ross is known for is late changes, im expecting Griff to come in, hopefully its CPearce.

Well it hasn't been a luxury having 3 Rucks ready to play we have had for a while.

I think the Sub rule being abolished changed alot of teams playing 2 rucks. We had ideally a while ago Sandi, Tabs, Pav, 1 of Clarke or Griff and generally the worst performing forward or most tired player got subbed off for a speedier more lively spark.

Game has shifted to mobility again, 1 ruck and a few back up pinch hitters is all that's needed. An extra inside mid is more valuable than a 2nd string break even Ruckman IMO.

I think the changes are good, perhaps bit harsh on Griffon when there was other bad performers.

Really feel that the bad talk about Freo has forced Ross to play youth, which is a good thing.

All I hope there isn't a late change MDB in, Weller/Langdon out.

This is a real chance. DeBoer to tag Gary. It would also mean the hope of a new game plan would be down the drain.

Swapping Taberner and Griffin for A Pearce and M Johnson should improve our mobility and our skills.

Swapping Clarke with Sandi, will improve our clearances.

I think Langdon can match Mzungu around the ground except with better skills.

I actually think Johnson has been brought in for Mzungu because our backline needs to be taller than last week. And APearce come in for Tabs. Sandi for Clarke.

The big deal is that Langdon replaces Griffin which makes our forward line dramatically different. And I like it a lot.

That's how i view it.

I think Alex Pearce is going to play forward with a bit of ruck work.
Langdon straight swap for Gu.

APearce forward, yes. But Langdon will play mostly forward too - different role to Mzungu. I'll bet you a pack of Barbeque chips on it.

Gazza will tear MDB to shreds IMO
I can't see anybody else can go with gazza without lesser their possession.suban can only block cannot tag. C.Pearce is too slow. Langdon play on wing.

Why the bad knock against De Boer? He shined when playing for his spot last year and was among the best in the prelim. Think he would excel at being the tagger, tackles well and reads the play inside the contest. Given the chance to play in the 22, he does more then Mzungu/C. Pearce.

You must be confusing him with somebody else. Gu is a bloody good shot on goal.

Gu can't get the pill any more and when he does he turns it over. I take my hat of to him for what he has achieved but it is time to move on. Langdon is the future . Clancee will be next when Hughes or Mora are ready.

I guess there's no one for C. Pearce/Suban/Mayne to come out for anyway. Bennell, Morabito, Yarran all injured or no game time. Same goes for Crozier and Blakely. With the exception of Hughes there were no other newbies available.
