^I would take a 6 goal loss and call for Hinkley to be reinstated if this was our lineup Saturday!

If Hayes blows up, Sub him and play a mosquito fleet at half forward. Pressure, pressure, pressure.

Fogarty beat Jonas in the last show down we were just lucky the ball stayed in our 50 as much as it did. This Saturday could be really ugly for Tom.
We have no decent match up for Rankine, Rachel or Thilthorpe.

If their spud mids can manage to halve the contest we are doomed (they probably can't)

Can’t imagine this will be a pretty game to watch but it will be high intensity.

We need to dominate the midfield and starve them of opportunity. I’m surprised how many scoring shots they have been creating given their trash midfield.

If they improve their goal kicking accuracy we are in real trouble.

Finlayson was a failure when GWS played him down back: he is not a body on body player.

I would play him on the wing and let him run around the ground as a spare mobile ruckman (like Geelong do with Mark Blicavs).
We could play Hayes in the centre bounce and then Jeremy runs on the ball, allowing Hayes to drift to either end.
I remember it more so as they were kind of stacked in their backline and a void opened up with Patton going. Admittedly I haven't seen him down there for a while, I wouldn't play him as the lockdown type. More the Lever role floating in and rebounding. Aliir as the lockdown.

I think the second ruck role with Hayes isn't the worst idea either, there needs to be a change up with that ruck situation.

Who was the spud who kicked like 5 goals for them against us last year (I think) and has now disappeared? I would bring him in if I was them. Thilthorpe is probably good for 5 this week you would think. Rankine probably 4.

I've stopped getting worked up over Hinkley's selections. Hinkley is going to Hinkley. He'll continue to pick his under-performing favourites.

They should cost him his job and this season I think they will.

Still debating if I'm going to go and watch or not. Waiting to see the line ups. Not confident, but love a Saturday night game under the lights. Hopefully we can perform like we did in Robbie's farewell game.

Lost by 10+ goals in the last game attended by Russell

Then lost by 10+ goals in the tribute game for Russell

Take away 11 years of falling short, those two performances alone warranted an overhaul of personnel
We are Port Adelaide, we exist to make our community carbon neutral.

Crows have a very potent forward line that can capitalise on our lack of height and speed in defence

But our midfield should in theory be able to dominate and restrict the amount of Crow’s scoring opportunities

This match takes place one year to the day from the Jordan Dawson Showdown…

Crows forward line is legitimately dangerous. With our at best mediocre and undersized back 6 I think we're genuinely vulnerable. Their mids only have to break around the clearances to create enough chances to win in my opinion.

We're also every chance to obliterate their mids and expose them for a lack of pace on the outside and dominate.

Port by plenty or Crows in a heartbreaker.

So basically last years 2 results.

We dont lose this game. The Guernsey. We dont. We wont lose this. We cant. We are not losing this.
Ken aside. This game is about the black and white guernsey. If we lose this game I will flat out never want any more talk about it anymore. Ever again. It would be silly. We need to win this football game for you prison bar people. If we dont. Its more embarrassing than ive ever had with my club.
This is a genuine game for Port Adelaide.
Stop using the prison bars as a smokescreen.

They should be consistent regardless of the ****ing guernsey.

They’re milking this prison bar game as much as possible hoping we all forget the absolute rubbish they produced last week.
I would not be surprised at all if we lose this week and it infuriates me..much as I want Ken out, I want port Adelaide to win…

Any
We should win this and win well based on the respective midfields, I can see what others are saying though if we are off & Lycett plays like trash coupled with the crows stringing play together like the 3rd quarter against Richmond it could be a disaster (depending on how you look at it).

Riley O'Rory to drop in the hole and take a gazillion marks while Lycett.. well I don't know what he does around the ground sfa basically.
loss to that mob is a disaster
