Tom Clurey should be in the boat of what is the point based on his last 6 years. Did he suddenly learn how to defend without falling over?
He fell over in marking contests during the SANFL trial.

Crows forward line is legitimately dangerous. With our at best mediocre and undersized back 6 I think we're genuinely vulnerable. Their mids only have to break around the clearances to create enough chances to win in my opinion.

We're also every chance to obliterate their mids and expose them for a lack of pace on the outside and dominate.

Port by plenty or Crows in a heartbreaker.
whilst there forward line is dangerous, theres a lack of defensive chasing and pressure from their forwards as well

we should be able to expose this

PORT ADELAIDE will consider a Showdown AFL debut for Jake Pasini, who’s one of several options to replace Ryan Burton for Saturday night’s match with Adelaide.

Key forward Todd Marshall indicated to reporters that Tom Clurey, Riley Bonner and Pasini were all replacement options for Burton. Pasini, who was taken in the 2019 rookie draft, hasn’t played an AFL game yet, but has shown significant progress in recent months in his recovery from an ACL injury.

Marshall said he expected veteran Travis Boak would return to the Power’s starting 22 – he started as the sub against Collingwood – while backing out-of-form forward Mitch Georgiades to flip his fortunes.
just play the kid, see what hes got

stop playing safe

I'm mostly worried about the Crows high pressure game style. They've made contests against us a scrap in the past and it resulted in a loss after the siren as well as a 4 point win, in our last 2 away showdowns. They also kept it close till half time last time we played because of it. They seem to drag us down to their level, and we've seen just how much we struggle with that high pressure style last week. They're extremely efficient at going from that style, winning a ball or turnover and scoring with that dangerous forward line, so we will need the game to break open a bit to be comfortable, and to really capitalise on any midfield advantage.

Crows aren't very good. Last time we met, we thumped them.

Regardless of our shortcomings and their intensity, if we're even half-intersted it's a no contest.
